Secure thin computing enviornment

Protect your investment.

HP Thin Clients are designed to offer the best in class virtualization system. The t520 series features no-hassle virtualization, dual-display capability, Gigabit Ethernet with Bluetooth Wireless connectivity options, and security you can count on. Flexible Thin Clients offer the ultimate versatility, with models varying to idealize the tools you need for your business. The AMD G-Series processor standard with the t520’s is a 2-core, 1.2GHz System-on-Chip (SoC) processor. SoC is a low power integration of computer components in a single chip.

Employment of low energy processers and flash storage increase efficiency. By taking out the need for moving parts, individual computers are able to save on power and energy. The t520’s are also equipped with fanless-design, which offers a quieter and more efficient system, while taking up less space for a clutter-free workspace. Limiting storage does disallow for extensive use of applications and software, but as long as cloud and central storage are utilized efficiently, the low capacity won’t have an influential effect on the Thin Client’s workability.

Thin Clients are specialized to create a desktop virtualization by operating remotely from a server, making them ideal for business uses. This is done through cloud based architecture, making it possible for individuals to work on the same network from anywhere. The simplicity of each workstation allows for lower total cost of ownership, and allows for reduction in applications on individual computers.

By decreasing the need for storage on individual units, the need for security on each Thin Client is minimized. Less information is stored on the desktop, diminishing the risk for compromise of critical data. Security on the central enterprise system makes it easier to store important data safely while making it accessible to authorized parties.
